Lilongwe, Malawi

by

The roads are incredibly bumpy. I really don’t want to drive. I have people bouncing all over in the back of the truck. The well sits so far downhill. At first the ladies and kids are shy, but we say, “Muli Uli, Nili Makado” and they laugh. Some babies scream at the sight of Mzungus. Then they start to sing and dance, and it is such an awesome thing, living in the moment with the beautiful people of Malawi.

We are delivering well parts to the poor villages. Marion Medical Mission has been doing this for ten years and they really have their act together. They plan to get over 2,000 wells up and running in just six weeks. If you wish, you can check out their site at marionmedical.org/water.htm
