Santorini

by

Just when you don’t think a place can get any more spectacular you are taken to an even more majectic and awesome place – Santorini.  We are staying at the top of a volcanic cliff, looking out over the Agenan Sea.  Unbelievable (website – Volcanoview.com).  To get around, we rented a scooter.  But I find it much more enjoyable to sit on solid sand and meditate at the Sea than zip around winding curves.  Kay and Arnie though I was mad at Bob when I stomped off the scooter and marched down the beach with my backpack and helmet still on.  I was just happy to be at my favorite spot, walking another beach, and this time black sand.  We are living on Gelato and chips (fries cooked in olive oil) and a lot of other outstanding quizinne (food).  Kay and Arnie are perfect traveling companions.  Tonight we learn Greek dancing.

Pictures are spectacular, and it sounds like you’re having a ball. I am a little confused however. Philosophical discussions, theory of relavity, scooter rides, party islands with European youth, greek dance lessons. I though you just retired!! Apparently I’ve got a lot of work to do before I go over there. Or I can just drink as much Ouzo as you’re apparently been drinking. (Just kidding!) Keep having a great time, and we will continue to follow you.
